TRBH "intelligent" ventilation system: The first patented system for the ventilation of transformers into resin!
The transformers into resin intended for the distribution of electricity produce heat during their operation. The transformer, from its constructive nature, dissipates heat in the surrounding environment by thermal convection. When environmental and load conditions are critical, natural air circulation is not enough to ensure adequate cooling of the machine. To overcome these disadvantages, Tescystem presented ventilation systems equipped with a support for a quick assembly on transformers in the 90s. But traditional ventilation systems have much to do with the new opportunities offered by industry 4.0 due to limitations of connectivity.
The TRBH system was born on the basis of a philosophy and an experience that Tescystem has been promoting for years: from the simple optimization of interventions to the more refined concept of predictive maintenance! All this is possible thanks to the data that the system is capable of providing via communication Ethernet or RS485.
Some of the advantages of using the TRBH system:
Reduction of electricity consumption: With the revision of Ecodesign 2009/125/EC legislation for the reduction of transformers' losses in 2021, the consumption of electrical accessories will also be included in energy consumption statements. TESSYSTEM took this necessity into consideration when designing the TRBH system, obeying increasingly restrictive regulations and guaranteeing lower operating costs.
Confainment of the thermal and mechanical shock of the transformer: The early heat dissipation action allows you to start cooling the transformer in advance. The elimination of immediate ignition with maximum power makes it possible to contain the effects of thermal shock which are deleterious for the mechanical structure of the transformer. The activation of the ventilation system and the setting of the air flow of the fans are managed directly by the thermometric control unit, which adapts the speed of rotation of the pair of fans of each winding according to the temperature detected by the Unique pt100. The reduction in temperature differences between windings contains the mechanical stresses due to the thermal expansion and contractions.
Noise reduction emitted by fans: The main cause of noise in a ventilation system is due to turbulence generated by the speed and pressure of the air flow. The stabilization of the operating temperature of the transformer is an important factor to take into account to operate it in the event of an overload.
