The TPL503 system (BB211 control unit + TPL503 sensor) represents innovation 4.0 for the protection of hermetically sealed oil transformers.
The conventional electromechanical control devices are replaced by the TPL503 electronic sensor which, installed directly on the transformer, is capable of monitoring and transmitting temperature, pressure and oil level detected at the BB211 control unit.
The BB211 control unit protects the transformer by means of appropriate alarm contacts and transmits the information to a remote center for predictive maintenance.
It is equipped with 3 LEDs: T = temperature, p = pressure, L = level for the indication of alarms with bright colors.
The flashing LEDs indicate the breakdown conditions (FAULT) of the control unit, which has registers dedicated to storage of any alarms, maximum values affected by the temperature and pressure and minimum value parameters for the level parameter.
It also feeds the TPL 503 sensor and receives information on the state of the transformer.
The compact dimensions and the Rail DIN mounting system allow its installation in the most varied gathering boxes.
