Description

Infrared Thermometer Comparator provides a stable black body temperature source and is a little way to evaluate main infrared thermometers when used with a reference thermometer.

The comparator consists of an aluminum cup Ø60 x 100mm with a solid base in matte black .

The base has two Ø3.5 mm holes , one for a reference thermometer probe and the another for an additional probe, if needed.

The comparator should be used at an ambient temperature of around 22°C for best results.

Information from the reference thermometer can be used to compensate for minor differences in test instrument courses .

Then,
only instruments with unacceptable errors must be returned to the supplier for recalibration or certification.
